How to get Live messenger to launch hotmail in new window instead of new tab?

I am having trouble with one thing. On my laptop Windows Live Messenger launches hotmail in a new instance of IE7. On my desktop it launches hotmail in a tab on the first opened IE7 window. As I have specific IE windows for tasks and work related functions this gets annoying on my desktop. Is there a way to set Live Messenger to always just launch hotmail in a new IE7 instance?

I don’t think there is a way. But there are other options. You can launch hotmail in a tab then press CTRL + N. This will open a new IE7.
